Goal -Setting : This is a different focus that will increase your results
It’s a new year again and it’s a good time for people to examine areas of their lives and review their achievements and most especially set
new goals.
The reality though is most people who set goals don’t achieve their goals and that’s usually for one major reason.
We set attainment goals we don’t have the capacity to achieve and when we focus onĀ attainingĀ these goals and don’t achieve them we quit.
Imagine I set a goal to run the 100metres dash in less than 10 seconds (okay we all know that’s not going to happen but just follow me here), and all I did was go down to the track and kept running and running but barely get below 11 seconds, I reckon most people will quit within a couple of months.
