Home Based Business Success Secret #3:Promote A Business That Rewards You Well For Your Efforts

Okay, here’s success secret #3.

If you really want to increase your likelihood of success then it is highly essential that you pay attention to this secret.

Have you ever come across a home based business program where the presenter shows you how you can earn big money as you bring in a few who bring in a few who bring in a few and it goes on and on and on?

Actually I have where ‘Joey Superstar’ is being paraded as the model business builder and everyone is aspiring to be like Joey, earning $50,000 a month. Well it’s not that there’s anything legally wrong with this kind of program but the flaw is Joey Superstar is making more money off of your efforts than you are. You and the thousands of other people trying to build a business are the reason why Joey is making this money and good for him, but not necessarily good for you.

I find it really amusing when i see people who work their backsides off generating sales in a home based business but because they are low down the ladder, they get paid peanuts for the money they bring in and yet they stick with it, chasing the elusive dream of being the next ‘Joey Superstar’.

The option some other people go with that I don’t recommend is building a home based direct sales business that pays you upfront but pays peanuts so we have Jane who hosts a home party for 5 guests and she promotes and sells products and ends up with a  $50 profit for all her efforts. Again there is nothing wrong with this but if you consider all the efforts, time and energy that goes into earning the $50, the question is this – Is it really worth it?

If you really want to start making good money as quickly as poosible, then the primary product that you are promotng should reward you well for your own efforts.

If you are introduced to any home based business opportunity, the question you must ask is – How can I earn $x every month from my efforts alone? Where $x is your desired monthly income.

Imagine promoting a vacation club for example, families spend thousands of dollars every year travelling. If you were using the Internet to promote a vacation club and you made maybe $400 a sale then you know that with just 10 sales a month (which if you are using Internet marketing is not a big deal), you could easily make $4000 a month.

Leveraged income is great, it’s wonderful to be able to earn from other people’s efforts but if you are relying on leverage in your home based business your chances of success are almost nil.

Find and promote a home based business that will compensate you well for the efforts you put in, leveraged income should be the icing on the cake, not the cake.

There are a few good internet driven home based businesses that reward you well for your own efforts, I strongly recommend that you look for this when considering a home based business.
